AKRON, Ohio (WJW) – A fourth person has been sentenced to prison in connection with a drug conspiracy case in Summit County.

According to a press release from the Department of Justice, 38-year-old Ernest Shropshire was sentenced to 121 months, about 10 years, in prison after he pleaded guilty in January to the following charges: • Conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute methamphetamine and fentanyl • Distribution of methamphetamine and fentanyl • Distribution of fentanyl

According to the release, Shropshire served as a supplier of methamphetamine and fentanyl to 42-year-old Calvin Roberts from about April 1 through Aug. 28, 2023.
