LAREDO, Tex. (KGNS) - Community members are getting the chance to learn the ancient art of tortilla-making as part of a special cultural event hosted by the Laredo Film Society and Laredo Cultural District.

The group is presenting its “Maíz and Nixtamal” workshop on Friday evening, September 5, at Casa Ortiz, featuring Austin-based chef and filmmaker Luna Vela of Neighborhood Molino.
