A U.K. woman has been sentenced in the 2022 murder of her husband, which she initially told police was a suicide.

The victim, 29-year-old Kyle Pugh, was killed in a "violent incident" in their Newport home on March 22, 2022, by his wife 34-year-old Amy Pugh, the Crown Prosecution Service said in a statement .

Amy, who was convicted in June of this year, was sentenced on Thursday, Sept. 4, to life imprisonment with a minimum term of 13 years and 77 days for Kyle's murde
