A New Hampshire woman helped run private groups online dedicated to sharing videos showing the torture, killing and sexual abuse of monkeys, federal prosecutors said Friday, announcing her arrest.

Lynn Seymour, a 51-year-old from Manchester, was in federal court Friday to face charges of distribution of animal crush videos and conspiracy, according to the U.S. Attorney's Office for New Hampshire.

Seymour is accused of participating in and administrating groups dedicated to what are called animal crush videos involving baby and adult monkeys, prosecutors said. The videos show the animals being tortured, murdered, sexually mutilated and sexually abused, according to prosecutors.
