Dansby Swanson hit a 3-run homer and the Chicago Cubs went deep four times in an 11-5 victory over the Washington Nationals on Friday.

Swanson capped a 5-run first inning with his 3-run shot. Reese McGuire, Nico Hoerner and Ian Happ hit solo home runs and the Cubs never trailed in winning for the fifth time in seven games.

Luis Garcia Jr. hit a 2-run home run and Daylen Lile added 2 RBI and a pair of triples for the Nationals, who had their three-game winning streak halted.
