KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The City of De Soto has approved a package of economic development incentives to support Limestone, a $225 million mixed-use project planned on the northeast corner of K-10 Highway and Kill Creek Road.
The city said the development, led by GRATA Development, will bring new housing, hospitality and retail amenities to the community.
Project highlights include: • A planned hotel site with a 75% property tax abatement for 10 years, combined with new retail and community amenities supported by a 1.5% Community Improvement District (CID). • 102 single-family homes supported by a Rural Housing Incentive District (RHID) designation to promote new home construction. • 350 multi-family apartments equipped with modern amenities and approved for a 75% property tax abatement
