ROCKFORD, Mich. — Instead of class, hundreds of kids from Rockford High School walked out of school and made their way to the football stadium. It was a planned demonstration by students like Brayden Burgess as part of a national effort by Students Demand Action.
"We have a bunch of students coming out to go hear speeches raising school shooting awareness," said Burgess. "Which is gun law control, mental health awareness, to help bring it up in the community of West Michigan."
For Burgess, acts of violence, like the recent Catholic School shooting in Minneapolis , is another example of "enough."
