HASTINGS, Neb. (KSNB) - Happy Friday evening everyone! If you are one that absolutely loves fall weather, today was the best day as we had highs in the 60s. The weather warms up but remains wonderful over the weekend before summer dew points and temperatures return next week.

Any clouds early this evening will clear out between now and midnight and winds will become light. It will be one of the chilliest nights we have seen in months as lows slide back to between the mid 30s in Northwest Nebraska to the mid 40s over Southern Nebraska and Northern Kansas.

The weekend ahead will be wonderful and an early taste of fall. Expect plenty of sunshine on Saturday with lighter winds. High temperatures will range from the upper 60s in Northeast Nebraska to the mid to upper 70s in Southern and Weste
