CLEVELAND, Ohio — Week 3 of Friday night football in Northeast Ohio should kick off under mostly dry skies, though some games — especially south and east of Cleveland — could see spotty showers.

It also will be breezy early Friday evening, with lingering wind that could affect the kicking game, though gusts should gradually ease later in the evening.

Any rain that does develop is expected to be light and scattered, according to forecasters with the National Weather Service in Cleveland.

Temperatures at kickoff will be mild for early September, generally in the upper 60s to low 70s, but a passing cold front will bring a cooler feel as the night wears on.
