CLEVELAND HEIGHTS, Ohio — The Ohio Court of Claims this week ordered the city of Cleveland Heights to release the long-withheld police body camera video depicting an obscene outburst by Mayor Kahlil Seren’s wife, Natalie McDaniel, inside City Hall last December.
Judge Lisa Sadler, in an order published late Thursday, adopted a special master’s report that found Seren’s administration’s justification for hiding the video — that it recorded a private conversation between the couple and it did not serve to document official city business — was “completely devoid of substance.”
