BISMARCK, N.D. (KMOT) – Three North Dakota schools have earned the “Blue Ribbon” designation for their dedication to academics.
State Superintendent Kirsten Baesler said the following schools earned the honor:
Burlington-Des Lacs Elementary in Burlington
Northern Cass Public School in Hunter
Schroeder Middle School in Grand Forks
The U.S. Department of Education typically gave the honors to schools following nominations from their state departments of instruction, though the federal agency recently ended its role in the process, saying states are betting positioned to recognize schools.
