Body-worn camera footage taken by Idaho Falls Police officers responding to a 911 call showed what led to the shooting death of Derrand Zimmerman on Aug. 19 in Idaho Falls.

Idaho Falls Police Chief Bryce Johnson held a media briefing Friday afternoon at the Idaho Falls Police Complex and answered questions after relevant parts of the body camera footage were viewed by the media. The 911 call to police about a report of a suicidal man armed with a gun causing a disturbance was also released.
