SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) - A strong cold front will be arriving from the north late tonight into Saturday morning bringing widespread storms along with a big drop in temperatures! Storms will start to develop this evening along the I-30 corridor and then gradually work their way south, ending up near I-20 by Saturday morning. A few of the storms could turn severe overnight with hail and strong wind gusts possible.

Rain will be widespread across much of the region as we wake up Saturday morning but any storm threat should be much lower by this time. As we head toward noon, rain will start to taper off but a few showers could linger into the afternoon.
