EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. (BLACK AND GOLD NATION) - Steelers quarterback Aaron Rodgers has plenty of familiarity with MetLife Stadium as he gets set to face his former team, the New York Jets, on Sunday afternoon. After a sour taste was left in his mouth after the tough two-year tenure, Rodgers is still treating this matchup like it's an ordinary game.
"Yeah, it's Week One," Rodgers said.
Upon being traded, Rodgers was seen as the savior of a Jets franchise that hadn't been in the playoffs since the Steelers defeated New York in the AFC Championship Game back in 2011. However, Rodgers tore his Achilles tendon just four snaps into his first season with the Jets.
He would miss that entire season. Once Rodgers returned, he never quite looked like the four-time MVP that he was in Green Bay. The
