Desean Brown has been ruled competent to stand trial for the alleged murders of his girlfriend, Nyteisha Lattimore, and her 3-year-old son, Nylo, following a ruling by a Hamilton County judge after testimony about his behavior and drug use.

Two psychologists who examined Brown shared their opinions.
Dr. April Sutton from Summit Behavioral Healthcare said, "My opinion is he's currently competent to stand trial."
Dr. Emily Davis, a psychologist, added, "He is capable of assisting in his defense if he chooses to do so."
