ESSEX, Vt. (ABC22/FOX44) - Authorities in Essex said Friday that a 12- and a 13-year old will need to appear in Family Court for messages they sent online.

According to the Essex Police Department, they had been investigating a case where juveniles were sending photos and videos of guns to other kids, and threatening to harm their classmates. As a result of the investigation, police searched two apartments on Susie Wilson Drive in Essex.

Two juvenile suspects were cited on charges of criminal threatening and disturbing the peace. They will appear in court at a later date.

Joshua Limoge-Francis, 32, of Essex, was also arrested during the operation on charges that included impeding public officers and assault on a protected professional. He was released on conditions and is scheduled to a
