CLEVELAND, Ohio — Warm one day, cool the next — a passing cold front Friday evening will set up a rollercoaster of temperatures and yet another taste of autumn across Northeast Ohio this weekend.
Ahead of the front, temperatures Friday should climb into the mid 70s to low 80s by late afternoon. The warmup will come on gusty winds, with speeds topping 30 mph at times from late morning into the evening before easing overnight.
The front itself should move through by early evening. While the passage is expected to stay mostly dry, clouds will build and isolated showers could develop tonight into Saturday, especially east of Interstate 71, according to the National Weather Service in Cleveland .
Fortunately, that means most high school football games Friday evening should be spared from
