Detectives searched two apartments of people they believe to be involved in narcotics dealing and seized drugs, money and a weapon on Thursday, according to a Colorado Springs Police Department blotter entry.

During the investigation, police had conducted surveillance to find the apartment.

According to the entry, detectives contacted a vehicle at a traffic stop that was observed to be a customer of the narcotics dealer and deployed a narcotics K9 unit. As a result, a search warrant was completed for the apartment.

In the apartment located at 22 N. Spruce St., police seized 645 grams of cocaine and more than $28,000 in cash, according to the entry.

The apartment's residents, Haleigh Micci, 22, and Richard Burch, 29, were interviewed and released pending further investigation.
