BALTIMORE -- Samuel Basallo 's first home run at Camden Yards -- and the second of his 15-game MLB career -- will be a memorable one.

Basallo (the Orioles’ No. 1 prospect and MLB Pipeline’s No. 8 overall ) blasted a walk-off homer in the bottom of the ninth inning on Friday night, lifting the O’s to a 2-1 victory over the Dodgers . It was also the first career walk-off for the 21-year-old rookie.

Baltimore was down to its final out before Basallo connected on a 1-2 fastball from left-hander Tanner Scott and jolted it a Statcast-projected 433 feet over the right-center-field wall.

It was the Orioles’ second walk-off win of the season. Jackson Holliday (also only 21 years old) hit a walk-off RBI double in Baltimore’s 4-3 win over Seattle on Aug. 13.
