MONTPELIER, Vt. (WCAX) - A man known as a leader for Vermont’s education of children with disabilities has been arrested for felony embezzlement.
Montpelier police say Darren McIntyre, the former executive director of the Vermont Council of Special Education Administration, or VCSEA, allegedly embezzled more than $75,000 from the organization during his tenure from 2021 to 2023.
