CANFIELD A business in Canfield is set to host an on-site hiring event for a new retail store location selling ice cream.

Cockeye Creamery announced that it will be opening a second location in Canfield, stepping onto the scene in Mahoning County.

"Our production arm has grown significantly in the last couple [of] years. So this retail store, which will be our second retail store here in Canfield, is just a further extension of the brand... and into another county," said Max Hoover, Owner and Operator of Cockeye Creamery.

The ice cream brand has an additional location in Warren, which can be found at 1805 1/2 Parkman Road.

The new Canfield location can be found at 18 North Broad Street.
