FARGO — In the first week of August, Fargo police responded to three shootings that left two people dead and three others injured.

Two of the victims were in critical condition at one point. Only one of the alleged shooters has been captured.

Police say they have a strong track record of catching violent crime suspects quickly, but two of the three shooting suspects from that violent week remain at large.

“We are working on this actively every day, this case is not cold,” said Lt. Tom Shaw of the Fargo Police Department.

One of the suspects, Tyrque Jones, 20, is accused of shooting three people near the District 64 Nightclub. Azeem Holmes, 19, was killed. Police say the shooting was part of an ongoing feud between two groups.

“At some point, he is going to be tired of running,” Shaw
