Buffalo, N.Y. — The Syracuse Mets and the Buffalo Bisons split a doubleheader on Friday at Sahlen Field.
The Mets dropped the first game, 5-1, but came back to win 7-1 in the second game.
In the first game, Buffalo went up 4-0 in the bottom of the third inning, headlined by a three-run homer by RJ Schreck.
Syracuse responded with just one run in the top of the fourth. Kevin Parada reached base on an error and later scored on an RBI single by Luke Ritter to cut the deficit to 4-1.
The Bisons quickly got that run back with an RBI single by Buddy Kennedy in the bottom of the fourth.
