FARGO — In the WDAY Xtra Game of the Week, no. 1 in Class AA Minot North used a strong ground game to pull away from Fargo South 28-7 Friday night. South's backup quarterback Austin Morris connected with Drew Kessel for a 68-yard touchdown pass to give the Bruins a 7-6 lead. Minot North responded by scoring 22 unanswered. The Sentinels used seven total takeaways to keep South at bay.
Now 1-1, Fargo South faces rival Fargo North next week.
