As we head into the first full weekend of September, we will continue the cool stretch we've been dealing with over the past few days. For today, expect partly to mostly cloudy skies as winds remain out of the northwest or so. Those northwesterly winds can be quite good at squeezing some moisture out of the atmosphere. Thus, we have chances for some showers today, along with afternoon highs stuck in the upper 50s to low 60s.

Fortunately, as we head into Sunday, high pressure moves into the region. That will help to snuff out the shower chances; however, for tomorrow morning, clearing skies and light winds thanks to that high pressure will bring a decent chance for areas of frost away from the North Shore.
