LAS VEGAS (KLAS) -- A severe thunderstorm warning for north central Clark County on Friday evening brought with it a unique light show for those in Las Vegas.

The skies lit up with nearly continuous moments of lightning shortly after 8:30 p.m.

A severe thunderstorm was located 21 miles north of Aliante on Friday night. The thunderstorm warning for north central Clark County brought with it the potential for golf-ball-sized hail and 60 mph wind gusts north of the Las Vegas valley.

8 News Now viewers emailed in and called describing the unique lightning show they had witnessed, and even sent in video.

8 News Now viewer Daniela Bell sent a video from a neighborhood in the Lone Mountain area shortly after 10 p.m. on Friday as the lightning strikes moved through the area.
