KOOTENAI COUNTY, Idaho — A Kootenai County grand jury has indicted three people for the alleged illegal killing of four mountain lions and eight bobcats in North Idaho.

Eddy Dills, Daniel Dills and Angela Dills were indicted on charges including conspiracy to commit unlawful killing of wildlife, conspiracy to sell unlawfully killed wildlife, and concealment of evidence.

According to court documents, the hunting licenses of Eddy and Daniel Dills had been previously revoked, but the two are accused of proceeding to illegally hunt bobcats and mountain lions between May 2024 and February 2025 in Kootenai, Shoshone, and Benewah counties.

Court documents show that Eddy and Daniel used hunting dogs to hunt near bobcat traps and force mountain lions up trees.
