An 18-year-old woman and three juveniles have been charged in connection with allegations of an assault in Coward, according to the Florence County Sheriff 's Off ce.

Jaylen McKenzie Koon of 388 Cheyenne Road, Summerville, was arrested Wednesday and charged with third-degree assault by a mob. The three juveniles are facing the same charge.

Deputies were contacted Monday by the family of the victim regarding allegations of an assault which occurred on Durango Road between the hours of 1 a.m. and 3 a.m.

A video of the incident was posted on social media.

Investigators claim Koon and the juvenile co-defendants planned and carried out the attack, which resulted in minor injuries to the victim.
