The delicate curry leaf tree is a perfect candidate for small gardens in Kona. In addition to the fragrant white flowers followed by small berry-like fruit that turns from red to black, the leaves of this tree can add curry flavoring to lots of dishes. I have grown one successfully in a pot for several years and enjoy using the fresh leaves to add a flavor boost to many recipes.
