KANAWHA COUNTY, W.Va. — Two people were taken to the hospital after being struck by vehicles minutes apart on Friday night.
Dispatchers received a call for the first incident just after 9:20 p.m. The Kanawha County Sheriff’s Office says a man and a child were walking along Swans Lane and Winfield Road in West Side. One of the two was taken to CAMC Women and Children’s Hospital. The vehicle involved stayed on the scene.
Another call came in to Kanawha County dispatchers moments later at around 9:30 p.m. The call related to a person being struck at Ravinia Road and Oakwood Road in Charleston.
Charleston Police confirmed that a juvenile was taken to the hospital with minor injuries. The vehicle remained on the scene.
