In a pointed show of solidarity against President Donald Trump, state and local leaders walked through one of Baltimore’s most historically underserved neighborhoods Friday evening amid ongoing efforts to curb gun violence.

Maryland Gov. Wes Moore and Baltimore Mayor Brandon Scott took part in a community walk Friday evening in Park Heights. As the group started walking, they chanted: “We all we got, we all we need.”

The community walk comes on the heels of an ongoing and tense back-and-forth exchange between the governor and the president as Trump has repeatedly indicated an intent to bring in the National Guard to Baltimore, as he did in Washington, D.C.
