Elevated amenities, dozens of TVs and advanced technology are all part of a “new era for poker” at a New England casino.

Foxwoods Resort Casino in Connecticut is opening a new Poker Room on Tuesday.

"Already recognized as home of one of the first poker rooms in the country, Foxwoods continues its legacy as the premier destination where champions are made and guests experience the thrill of the game at the highest level," a press release states.

The new poker room will be in The Fox Tower, which is near parking, dining, nightlife and other activities. It will have advanced technology, automated sign-up kiosks for quick seating, 37 high-definition TVs showcasing live sports and poker and nearby DraftKings Sportsbook kiosks.
