Allegheny County dispatchers confirmed this started just after 2 a.m. Saturday. PennDOT officials said the road opened back up just before 9 a.m.

Officals said motorists may see residual delays and are asked to use caution in the area.

Officials said this was because of police activity and that drivers should use alternative routes.

Police and fire crews were on scene, and no one has been taken to the hospital.
