On Aug. 3 a woman requested assistance from the police department due to her car not starting.

Officers responded and spoke with the woman and her friend and learned the man was an adult and the woman was a juvenile.

The man was the driver of the car and had a suspended license. After an investigation, the man was arrested for contributing to the delinquency of a minor and possession of marijuana.

The girl was transported to the police department to have a parent pick her up. The parent said they had been out looking for her all night and was thankful she would be charged.

Both are facing court charges.

A resident reported they had received a fraudulent document in the mail from the Medina County Clerk of Court.
