Parent of child found walking alone on Shreveport street located overnight

SHREVEPORT, La. - Police tell KTBS 3 News that the parent of a child found walking alone Friday night on a Shreveport street has been located.

The child, believed to be about 3 years old, was found in the 2200 block of Sioux Trail near Tecumseh Trail.

Police turned to the public for help early Saturday in finding the child's parent or guardian.

There's no word on how the child managed to end up unsupervised wandering the neighborhood.
