The Baylor Bears head to SMU to take on the No. 17 Mustangs after falling to Auburn in their opener at home 38-24.

SMU took down East Texas A&M, 42-13, in their opener a week ago. Senior WR Romello Brinson recorded 7 receptions for 121 yards and 1 TD. Kevin Jennings contributed significantly with 2 TD passes and a rushing TD.

It will be the first game between the programs since 2016. The Mustangs have played Baylor 83 times, with Baylor holding a 13-game winning streak, but SMU has a remarkable 31-5 record at home since 2019.
