SARASOTA, Fla. (WWSB) - So far in September, thunderstorms have been widely scattered. At SRQ, only 0.05” has been recorded. Every day has a possibility of afternoon thunderstorm activity. Sunday may bring a little less coverage than Saturday. Dew points will hold the mid-70s for the weekend, which is average for September. Humidity could drop slightly during the workweek, with dew points in the low 70s.
For our beaches, on Saturday, winds are from the South and Southeast at 5-10 mph. Sunday winds shift to the West and Southwest at 5-10 mph.
