MANCHESTER, N.H. —

A woman in Manchester is facing charges after she allegedly helped distribute videos of animals being tortured.

According to the U.S. Attorney's Office for New Hampshire, 51-year-old Lynn Seymour allegedly participated in and served as the administrator for private online groups that included hundreds of members.

Some of those groups were dedicated to sharing videos of monkeys being tortured, sexually abused and killed.

Seymour was released on Friday after appearing in court. If convicted, she could spend up to 12 years in prison and a $250,000 fine.
