SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) - The Shreveport Police Department (SPD) is taking action against sex crimes. One woman has been arrested for sex crimes against an 11-year-old, and in a separate incident, a man is wanted for sexual battery inside Walmart.

First incident:

According to SPD, on Sept. 5, at 2:30 p.m., an investigation into Allison S. Plez kicked off after the reported sexual assault of an 11-year-old. The incident allegedly happened on the 900 block of McNeil Street and was captured on surveillance footage.

Allison S. Plez was contacted by SPD’s Sex Crimes Unit and was arrested. Plez refused to provide a statement.

The Department of Children and Family Services was contacted.

Plez has been charged with indecent behavior with a juvenile and has been booked into the Shreveport City
