After sitting out all of last season with an injury, and also missing out on last week’s season opener against Montgomery, junior running back Ethan Valenza finally got the chance to play his first varsity game for Hopewell Valley Friday night in Robbinsville.

He must have saved it all up, because Valenza put on an impressive show, running for 308 yards and four touchdowns as the Bulldogs notched their first win of the season over Robbinsville 59-21, to even their season record at 1-1.
