A teenage, drug dealing dad - who could have been a pro footballer - has been locked up. Malachi Lewis was seen approaching a gang in the Adamstown town area of Cardiff on August 29.

The 19-year-old who offered them drugs, was on an illegally-modified electric bike and wearing a balaclava, Cardiff Crown Court heard.

Prosecutor Robert Simkins said he tried to flee when police gave chase, Wales Online reports. The court heard he became a father following his arrest and has never seen the child.

Mr Simkins added: "Officers detained him, seized his bike and took him to the local police station. They found £401 in cash on his person, as well as a Nokia 'burner' phone that rang repeatedly while he was being questioned.
