Senior NFL insider Dianna Russini of The Athletic reported on Saturday morning that the New England Patriots were among the teams that inquired about a potential Micah Parsons trade in August.
The Dallas Cowboys eventually traded the Pro Bowl linebacker to the Green Bay Packers, but Russini provided further details leading up to the blockbuster.
Per Russini’s report, Parsons “had two teams on his mind” ahead of the deal — the Packers and Philadelphia Eagles.
“The Colts, Panthers, Bills, and Patriots all made calls and were told the price: two first-round picks, a significant player, and, of course, a record-setting contract,” she wrote. “As for everyone else?
