EAST LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) -- The first Michigan State football game of the school year was a success for the team, but many fans called it a food failure. Some said they waited in concession lines for more than 30 minutes to learn items they wanted weren't available.
As MSU prepares for its second game of the year, freshman Kennedy George said she does not plan to get concessions after her long wait last game.
"I just wanted a pretzel so I got in line and I had to wait down the ramp," she said.
On the other side of the counter, volunteer Nicole Ohl-Shaw said she had never seen it so chaotic.
"When the gates opened, we were not ready to sell anything because we didn't have the food ready," Ohl-Shaw said.
