TYLER, Texas — Two teenagers were hospitalized in a hit-and-run crash in Tyler Friday night.

According to Tyler Police, dispatch received a call around 10:24 p.m. about a crash in the 2100 block of W. Front Street and Bruck Ave. Upon arrival, they observed two injured teenagers, an 18-year-old and 13-year-old, Tyler Police said.

Both were taken to an area hospital by EMS. The extent of their injuries is currently unknown.

At around 11:17 p.m., police pulled over a driver believed to have been involved in the crash, identified as Howard Jessie, 49. He was arrested and booked into Smith County Jail without bond on charges of collision involving injury.
