Former Gov. Andrew Cuomo will score a key endorsement Saturday from Local 3 of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, his first union backing for the general election in NYC’s mayoral race.

Cuomo was expected to announce the endorsement by the powerful 29,000-member union at the annual Labor Day Parade in Manhattan.

The ex-governor had scored the union’s endorsement in the Democratic primary, where Cuomo was upset by socialist Queens Assemblyman Zohran Mamdani.
