Armed police are responding to an incident on a residential street in Leicester tonight (Saturday). At least four armed officers, and four police vehicles are in attendance at Westcotes Gardens, as well as an unmarked police car.

A cordon is in place at the scene. A road closure is also in place from Fosse Road South to Sykefield Avenue.
