CARBONDALE — Offenses shone bright Friday night at Frank Bleyer Field in Carbondale as the Terriers and Mt. Vernon Rams went blow-for-blow in a game that featured more than its fair share of scores.
But after nearly three-and-a-half hours and 863 total yards of offense, it was the Rams and junior running back Jashawn Staples’ 208 rushing yards and five touchdowns who came away with a 52-51 win over Carbondale.
