YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) - The Jewish Community Center of Youngstown held a "Pool Pawty" for dogs at its Logan campus on Saturday.

Run by the Animal Welfare League of Trumbull County, the yearly event gives dogs a chance to run around, play and cool off with a swim before the pool gets drained at the end of the season.

It's a day the staff looks forward to every year.

"It's my favorite day of the year, it's so fun," said Delaney Grubbs, manager at the JCC of Youngstown. "I mean, it's even better that it's all for the Animal Welfare League. Even all the staff, it's our favorite day of the year."

The cost to get in was $5 or an item to donate to the Animal Welfare League of Trumbull County.
