The Yankees were leading, 2-1, when the tarp came out midway in the sixth inning.
"Today's game is officially under a rain delay," the Yankees announced on social media. "We will update you with information as it becomes available."
No time has been announced to resume the game. It would be an official game if called due to the weather.
