JOHNSTOWN, Pa. – A Johnstown Police Department officer has been put on administrative leave, per protocol, after shooting and injuring one person early Saturday morning on the 400 block of Broad Street.

Gregory Neugebauer, Cambria County district attorney, said he couldn't disclose many details about the incident because of the ongoing investigation, but did confirm the officer deployed their "service weapon, striking an individual" after responding to a theft call. ×
